The Price of Compassion:
They rescued pigs and turkeys from factory farms —
and now face decades in prison
In 2017 a group of animal rights activists entered a massive factory farm in Utah, documented the conditions inside, and removed two dying piglets. In response, the FBI launched a multi-state manhunt for the two piglets. Now, the activists are being prosecuted and could face decades in prison under laws designed to protect the animal agriculture industry. This is their story.
